Here’s the thing – chocolate is a comforting and delicious treat. It’s just not exactly the best for our blood sugar levels or our sleep cycles. Additionally, it can really impact our digestive system and our nervous system. How about our skin, you ask? Not so great either. Oh, and it definitely isn’t going to make any of your worries go away!
Next time you’re having one of those weeks, try out this tasty CBD Infused Hot Chocolate Recipe. Whether as a morning pick me up or treat before bed, we promise it’ll hit the spot. It’s a guilt-free hug in a cup because it features superfood ingredients and zero refined sugar. And it can actually help you manage stress in a healthy, holistic way!
Cacao Powder is responsible for giving this recipe that chocolatey taste without loading you up on tons of sugar. This superfood boasts one of the highest sources of magnesium in nature. It also has tons of antioxidants and minerals such as zinc, iron and selenium. Note the addition of Ceylon Cinnamon, which is particularly known for being anti-inflammatory as well as wonderful support for our immune system. Check the label of the cinnamon you have at home. If it doesn’t say “Ceylon,” it isn’t the real stuff! By adding CBD to the mix, you’ll be well on your way to feeling more calm, less anxious and ready to take on the day.
